The Archabbey of Pannonhalma is the centre of the Hungarian
Benedictine Congregation. Monks living here follow the Rule of Saint
Benedict, having chosen this way of life to seek God in prayer and the communal life.
The monastery is a place of encounter: an encounter with God, with others, with the past. In this place is fostered an atmosphere of openness, which enhances the dialogue between the traditions of the past and the present.
